In Fun Photo Effects, you'll learn ways to play with text on your photos, incorporate edge and sketch techniques, add some artistic flair, and much, much more. As with her other classes, Lynn will be in the forums and gallery providing support tips, and feedback. She'll also provide you with several digital products from the designers at DesignerDigitals and show you how to use them with your photos. Fun Photo Effects is for paper and digital scrappers who have taken Beginning Photo Editing or who have basic experience with a Photoshop product. It will be written for users of Photoshop Elements 4 through 7 and Photoshop CS through CS3. Lesson One: Take the Edge Off! Fun effects for your photo edges including outlines, inking, grunge, paint, distressing, burning and frames. Lesson Two: Fun With Text! from adding simple text to edging, to talk balloons and using effects from fading to warping. Lesson Three: Sepia Photos are Spectacular! Learn about using adjustment layers and tweaking many aspects to get your sepia effects. Lesson Four: These Photos Can Be Sketchy! Turning your photos into sketches including pencil sketches in color and in black and white and getting coloring book sketches. Lesson Five: Applying Artistic Effects Try your hand at hand-tinting, watercolor, oil painting, Conte crayon, fresco and woodcut effects. See how to use filters on less-than-perfect photos.
