Doris and I have been talking about using more of our tools and products in our stash. We thought we would challenge ourselves to focus on one item or technique a month. This month we chose to work with our Silhouettes. It's ok if you don't own a Silhouette. Any machine will do-Cricut, Big Shot,Cuttlebug... Or even just your craft knife. Digi scrappers welcome too.

Share your layouts or projects in the gallery and link it here if you like. This is just for fun...no prizes or anything. We just want to give our supplies a workout this year!

Looking forward to seeing your cards, Melissa.

A few years ago I HAD to have a Cuttlebug, I got one and lots of dies and folders over the following months and I have never even used it! I use my punches all the time! I should get it out this month!

I'm in! I really like my Silhouette, but haven't used it a whole lot. I like the whole idea of using my tools - Love this challenge!

Great idea! I've been making an effort to use the Silhouette more often. Now I have a real excuse.

No silhouette, but lots of steel dies that haven't been used. I am in.

Yes to the Silhouette Challenge! I want to use mine more often all year, so I added a folder in my Silhouette Library called "Used in 2015". Every time I use a shape this year, it will get added to that folder. A simple thing, but it is motivating me to fill that folder up!

i am very excited to get started on this now!  i have apparently been moaning to christy about ali's storytime kits being too much for so long that christy has finally come up with the perfect solution for me.  the digital files each month are only $4 something.  i can get that and cut some with my silhouette.  happy camper!  thanks for the idea, christy!  http://aliedwards.co.../firsts-digital

You're welcome! I just can't afford a kit sub for the stamps. This is a nice option. Use the print to cut feature on your silhouette and it's a breeze. I have even cut some of the delicate script words.

I went with something really simple. I've also decided to make some fun stickers for my planner, so hopefully I can get that done this month as well! Thanks for the challenge! I'm going to try to make something once a week with my eClips.

I used the circle draw thing to create the circles, then cut them out in different sizes.

lovely flower!  did you decorate your studio with it?

those circles are great, devra.  the stitching just puts them over the top.  congrats on your new gig, btw.  :)

Thank you. It's a short gig, only 4 months, but I'm excited.

Love the page Devra.

I like the flower too and it would be lovely on a card.

I gave my scissors and craft knife a workout. I designed several stamps, cut them out, then used the pieces as handmade die cuts.
