I've got a long list of hybrid challenges that I'd like to tackle but I'd also like to hear from you. Tell me what hybrid techniques would you like to try - I could work up a tutorial if it is something that you'd like to try but just don't know how to get started.

I will definitely cover using brushes - the idea of brushes can be a bit intimidating, which is why I didn't want to use them for the first challenge.
What else would you like to try?

Paula, the whole hybrid concept is so new to me that I wouldn't even begin to know what I'm looking for! I've actually only been doing digital for a few months & don't have a clear view of how to combine it with my all my paper, ribbons, buttons, etc. I have SO much product & I truly like the dimension you get with paper scrapping -- but I have fallen TOTALLY in love with digi! So I'm thinking hybrid is definitely the way to go, but I wouldn't have a clue in the world where to start. So I will leave it to you - and other, much more experienced scrappers - to guide me!

Thanks again for offering this!!
~ Dee

I too am very new to the digi scene and have no idea what I am doing so any tutorial would be greatly appreciated . I love the idea of combining the digi and the hands on products on a label ! Posted Image

I suspect most of us especially the newbies like myself will not have 12X12 photo printers. so I'd be interested in tips , techniques and even quick pages or sketches for pages printable on our "normal sized" printers that can be used as part of various sized layouts including 12 x 12 pages.

I am looking forward to these bi-weekly classes/challenges.

I LOVE HYBRID I think it's the best of both worlds!

Thanks So Much
Judi

Me either, but I guess anything that will push me to learn something new would be good!

I'm with Dee too, I just started Digi scrapping, so anything you give us will be perfect. I also agree with Judi in that I don't have a 12x12 printer and the nearest facility that will do it is over an hour away, so anything smaller that I can print off at home would be fantastic!! :-)

Thanks for asking!! :-)

Hey Paula,
All this Hybrid scrapping is new to me! I'm really interessted in learning how to use digi scrapping to combine it with my paper works. Because mainly I´ll stay a paper scrapper for sure. I´m just interessted in adding things like journaling, title works, brushes, etc.
I hope I can find ideas, hints and to me understandable lessons here, because though my english is not very bad, someties its still hard to follow....
But be sure, I'm always loöking forward to your challenges to learn new things....

Hi Paula, Guess I've been a hybrid scrapbooker for ages without even knowing it as I use my computer for a lot of my layouts. I'm happy to learn whatever you can throw my way. I like the use of brushes to create journaling boxes and other embellishments but am keen to find out how many digi techniques I can combine with my paper layouts. I'm ready to push that boundary.

ok here's one i have these distressed looking things that you are supposed to overlay on a photo - they are black - i just don't undertand how to make them go over the photo so that my photo shows through. i would use these on a paper page. but i just don't get it. they are like these...

but they are black.
and if you don't cover this - please just tell me how to do it!

I'm definitely going to cover brushes and the myriad of ways that you can use them. I'll do those photo blocks for the next challenge - how's that Celeste? Posted Image
