here's the list we've come up with for the february photo challenge.  i've taken your suggestions and divided them into four categories which coincides nicely with february having exactly four weeks.  (thanks february!  :)  under each category, i've listed 7 daily topics and some alternate suggestions in case something just isn't a good fit for you.

you can approach this in so many different ways!  it can be a simple photo challenge or a simple journaling prompt or both.  i thought it would be fun to drop by here and share our thoughts each day.  i'll post a little daily threads for each one, so if you even just want to comment on that you can.  it will be a fun way to get to know each other better!  i think i will put those threads on the nsbr board, so we don't clog up the scrapbook board.

if you plan to actually physically create a project for the challenge, i thought it would be nice to go ahead and talk about that here too, so we can give each other ideas.

can't wait!  i think it's going to be a "lovely" month!  :)

i had originally thought to buy some of the coin page protectors and use those for this project and slip them into my project life album.  now i'm thinking i want to make an actual mini-album (i've found a 3.5 x 5.5 inch base i can use).  i'm having a hard time deciding!  i've been wanting to get some of that style page protector, so i think i'll go ahead and order them tonight.  the mini appeals because i think it would be a fun place to use some of the obscene amount of trim that i have and never use.  hmmmm . . .

what are your ideas?

The childhood memories I might make a pocket page for. I have been wanting to add some of my stories to the family heritage album. The rest will likely be part of my PL pages.

I love this Doris and I think I am caught up enough to participate this month!  I missed January BOOOO!  I am curious about the smaller pocket pages?  What size are they and where are you ordering from?

Thanks Doris for organising this.  I am looking forward to joining in.  My kids will be back at school so will have a bit more free time (in theory  )

Love the ideas!!!!

I've been working on my childhood album. I may have to just jot down a few things this first week to add to that album later.  I'm going to play this by ear. I have failed miserably at any 30 challenge, photos or lists, with the exception of LOAD...

true confession:  i decided on february second that i didn't have time to keep up with the mini-album idea or even photographing anything for this, BUT i AM copying all my daily responses and pasting them into a word file.  i think they'll make great layout topics from time to time.
