Advice for a monitor for digi scrapping?

Hi! I've just recently made the plunge into digi scrapping and LOVE LOVE it. I am using a MacBook Pro because I have Photoshop loaded on it and that's my editor of choice. The screen is beautiful yet small. I am looking to upgrade to a larger monitor that I can hook into. Any advice? I assume that resolution is really more important than size ... ?

Hi, Sorry I missed this for so long. I don't have a good advice about monitors but here's some advice for graphic designers puchasing displays.

I went to Staples and talked to the salesguys and then looked up reviews online.  I came home with a Dell ST2421L that is sadly still in the box.
