Starting tomorrow I'm going to post a subject a day and if you want to join in.. you can blog, write here, do a layout or post a photo.. whatever type of response you want.. they'll be super easy 'prompts' and could take as little as a minute to 'do'

So it's not going to be a surprise what prompts I'll use just what order

Today i'm going to journal my favorite christmas memory. just a quick note in my journal about how one year I got my mom a kitty bell ornament and I was so excited that I bought it with my own money (it was maybe $3 lol) I think i was about 13 ... Christmas morning she opened the gift and said "oh crap I opened one for you" and I laughed and said "nope that's yours but thanks for ruining my surprise" ... apparently she had gotten me the same exact thing..

I think I'm going to write on my favorite tradition. I'm also doing the photo list from Katrina and reverb10 (daily prompts.. you should check it out, today's prompt was by Ali Edwards!

I love the reverb10 stuff- I don't think I am doing all of it right but I am getting into the reflection things.

I changed my photo format.. I think I'm going to print them all in 4x4 or 6x6 when it's done and just stick them on a page (either 4 to a side or 9) .. then it can be a part of my christmas album.

I am loving the reverb prompts but todays was a little hard it's about letting go and the thing I let go of is too 'raw' so i'm not sure what I'll write about..

I also haven't kept up with the favorite things part because the reverb & photo take up a lot of mental space but I think I may do a list like format on one photo of the easier stuff like favorite song, ornament etc. today


so is anyone else blogging each day? share!

I'm with you Tami on the rawness of the letting go but am thinking about how I will write my thoughts so that I don't hurt me or others!

Must get Katrina's list and work on that too.

I am sorry to say I am not daily blogging BUT I am hitting mine about once a week and I am truly LOVING both of yours!

I stopped blogging awhile ago because it was stressing me out. You know, the ONE MORE THING stuff. My plan is to journal in 2011 along with my Happiness project. I might blog a bit too but only if I feel like it.
Not doing reverb either. I am too darn busy right now. I didn't want to add to my December, I want to subtract. The only exception I am making is Katrina's Capture the Holidays class.

I completely understand I really wondered if I was crazy to take on the blogging a day in dec but I enjoyed november and I like the theme of the prompts being to reflect on 2010. Also, mary I'm really looking forward to the happiness project as well in 2011.


I'm off to try to do yesterdays reverb it still is weighing on me..

I'm behind it was a bad week, waiting for a moment to sit and type, hopefully tonight. I am still doing favorites somewhat with the photos but the main text is definitely reverb

Hi, of course to say "Hello again" - I'd pick this. I've been failing miserably at my scrapbook stuff as of late - I'm just too busy. I made cards - YES TORM - THEY WERE STAMPED. (In fact not only stamped, but stencil embossed in layers) and I - well - bit off WAY too much more than I can chew. I threw in the towel with my "Journal Your Christmas" last week - which I do every year on Shimelle Laine's site - and then just got overwhelmed making my gifts - a lot of them are homemade - from ceramics, to a "Gone with the Wind" quilt, and then baking, and cleaning - my tree is "up" in it's stand with the bag still around it - and has been since last week.

OK - I missed chatting, so today was my GIS day to chat. My family comes from Los Angeles on Saturday AM - and I'm handing them all a string of lights, a box of balls, and a dust cloth. I have HAD it!!

So . . . . off to read more of what I've been missing.
