Ok not really, we wont fail, but while looking up images for F I found this short film that was pretty cool if you want to check it out click on the image above..

Here's the wiki education:

F the Phoenician form of the letter was adopted into Greek as a vowel, upsilon (which resembled its descendant, ‹Y›, but was also ancestor to Roman letters ‹U›, ‹V›, and ‹W›); and with another form, as a consonant, digamma, which resembled ‹F›, but indicated the pronunciation /w/, as in Phoenician. (Later on, /w/ disappeared from Greek, resulting in digamma being used as a numeral only.)
In Etruscan, ‹F› also represented /w/; however, they formed the digraph ‹FH› to represent /f/; when the Romans adopted the letter, they had already borrowed ‹U› from Greek upsilon to stand for /w/. At this time, the Greek letter phi ‹Φ› represented an aspirated voiceless bilabial plosive, /pʰ/ though it has now come to approximate the sound of /f/ in Modern Greek.
The lower case ‹f› is not related to the visually similar long s, ‹ſ›. The use of the long s largely died out by the beginning of the 19th century, mostly to prevent confusion with ‹f›.

Personal story about the letter f :) My mom always made her f's backwards. In Jr. high I asked her if she was dyslexic, to which she replied no, how do you write your f's ? I said "like normal people do" I distinctly remember it being the first time I realized she too rolls her eyes ;) LOL

Later when I went through her things after she passed it was that F that made me cry I kept a book she wrote in just because of it.. I also saw that she had ALWAYS made her f that way I it was just her thing..

Anyway.. I can't share my image yet because I have to finish it ;) but hope everyone is just waiting for the weekend to catchup?

This fountain has been in my family for about 35 years and my DH just got it running again for me a couple of weeks ago.

"F" is for funnel - I use this funnel almost daily to pour my brewed iced tea into the water jug.
