Just checking in.. I didn't post yesterday due to the holiday.. however I'm thinking every sunday off isn't a bad idea!


How is everyone doing? Anyone choose to do a layout yet? I'd love to see them. I am going to spend today getting a few things purged and organized but I also need to get some house paperwork in order. My niece has taken up scrapbooking so lucky me... I now have someone do dump things on!

I also had a box of frames I got on clearance with no idea what to do with them.. but have decided to make an art wall and though they are empty I'll be hanging those today. That's at least using them right!

yes, that is right LOL I'm hanging them instead of just moving them around since I know where I want them just dont have what I want IN them yet It's going to be a cool project

I did do some sorting and organizing over the weekend. I also used some buttons and flowers in the album I did Sat and Sunday for my new nephew. I'll take pics tonight and share.

Empty frames are an art statement too. Just not one I display at my house, but go Tami!

LOL they are a statement.. the ones I have upstairs say "She hasn't ordered the photos yet" and the ones I will be hanging downstairs will say "she really hasn't a clue what she's going to put in these..."



although now i wonder if I should paint them because the frames are so close to the wall color.. but until they get painted and/or filled they'll be hanging out.. literally

so where are we at?

I have to say that you are going to choke when you see my before & after. Mary & Celia can attest to how miserable my room was. I realize I'm still in the 'new house' out of jail free phase.. add in kit club business everywhere but it was a mess. I have about 50% of my floor now cleared and my desk nearly cleared off, my art counter cleared off.. I'm doing fantastic. I also purged a bit and have intentions of scrapbooking this weekend to USE what I didn't lose

What elements do you have left? What do you need to organize?

Way to go Tami! I need to hit my big embelishment boxes in general and go through old paper still I haven't done either. I actually should give an honest look through my stamps as well. i want to re-organize them maybe into a folder. When I moved this last time I did really go through a lot it is not too bad just needs one last file through and organizing.

Have purged stamps, inks (during Torm's GET IT STAMPED course last Nov.),scrap papers, buttons, brads, papers, chipboard, pens, and punches. It's in pretty good shape. Embellies are the only area left. Think we should schedule one last ON LINE PURGE- Live CHAT/complaining to support each other in the last few areas we are working on. We have'nt done that in awhile.

I have to admit that I haven't done my paper yet. I'm waiting for my new unit and storage stuff to arrive and then it'll an even more thorough sorting.
