My March "Get Teased" challenge coincides with our fun birthday bash so I am going add it into the mixing pot for some added layout incentive.

I'll reproduce my post here to save you flipping between the two threads.

To keep with the GIS Birthday Crop "two" theme, let's call this one "Two Views."

This month I am going to link my challenge to the Get It Scrapped! bithday party although you will have until this time next month to get your completed layouts into the gallery.

Today is my daughter's birthday. In the blink of an eye she has gone from the tiny baby my husband and I brought tentatively home from hospital seventeen years ago to a tall, talented young lady. I just can't believe all those years have flashed past me so quickly.

One of the ways I would like to commemorate this special day is to do a layout showing that tiny baby and what she has become - a sort of "then" and "now" layout.

I'd like to challenge you to do a similar one for your own album. It could be of yourself now and as a child, your parents when they got married and how they look now or even the growth of a pet. You don't even have to do it about living things, it could just as easily be a layout about the advances of something in your lifetime (televisions, telephones, etc) or it could be the following of trends in hairstyles or fashion. Let your imagination run wild!

I am off to a crop on Saturday where I hope to get this layout completed and will post my version for you here. I'd love to see what you come up with in the gallery. To encourage you along I will be doing a random draw for some lovely Kaisercraft embellishment packs and rubs-ons from layouts in the gallery.

Great challenge! And thanks for adding non-living things; I have an idea that ties in with SWYL (always trying to multi-task!).
