The Feel of Cotton

Do you know what the second anniversary gift is? It is cotton, so one of your challenges this weekend to celebrate our 2nd birthday is to create with cotton. Make a layout using cotton. As always there is a lot of leeway on this. Your page can be paper or digital, and can be any size. Your use of cotton can be with fabric, cotton balls, q-tips, cotton ribbon or fiber but the cotton has to be on the page! If you are doing a digital page make sure to use an element that looks like fabric or cotton.
Your creations are due in the gallery by Sunday evening, and as always there is a chance for a prize!
If you need a little more inspiration check out the home page for some great tutorials about working with fabric.
Make sure to post your layout in the Public Gallery and then try to link it here so we can see it. If you need help linking let us know!

I must add something here...Studied Gab's LO (Loved the circle cutout- must use that on a graduation LO for my son!)and thought it was very festive. But it is all about the glowsticks- well-
My friend's Dad just passed away at 88. He had hundreds of patents as he spent his career working for the government. Chose not to stay in the private company side of inventing- a decision which drastically limited his income. She shared with me that he invented the glowstick! It's original purpose was to save pilot's lives who had been shot down at sea and on land. When rescue aircraft was near, they would activate the glow stick and this aided rescue personnel in locating them at night.
My son uses them all the time for all sorts of reasons in nighttime missions. I related the story to him and we were so grateful for my friend's Dad's inventions. This was just ONE of the many he thought of to save American military or at least make them better. I told my friend my son still benefits and that made her feel so much better. Wait til I share your LO Gab- the happiness and JOY it shows-on your children's faces has to make my friend smile who's missing her DAD- a quiet AMERICAN HERO-
