Every ray of sunshine makes me happy. I love it and will go outside even in the cold just to feel the sun.

I love my relaxed way of life. I am so thankful I do not have to get up and rush anywhere each day. It feels so good after working sometimes 3 different jobs as well as being the housekeeper and mother and chauffeur.

I love getting something in the mail. With email so popular, people do not use snail mail very often and it is such a treat to get a letter or card.

my husband buying me a mountain dew every now and then. I like mountain dew--but it is not my go to drink. My go to drink is a Diet coke. But--when I travel I always drink Mountain Dew. Lately, he's been bringing one home as a treat. I like to think he is being sweet and not building up to asking if he can new golf clubs. :)

My son and my sister. The two of them are anchors when I'm melting down like today. I just phoned my sister's desk, and her "YEEESSSS" as she answered with a smile in her voice made all the issues go away, and I called to tell her something trivial (She admired the drummer on the "Who" at the Superbowl, and it was announced on the radio it was Ringo's son -- another drummer she loved!)

That the warm weather is soon here, and that my little fur babies are all healthy again.

Snapped several pictures of my "baby"son17 yr.old...leaving home walking down the driveway in snowstorm last week. We wouldn't let him drive so he found a friend to pick him up and take him to his BF's house way out in the country-(other direction). He couldn't get out of here fast enough, threw clothes and toothbrush in a plastic grocery bag and walked to end of road for his ride. Was snowed in 4 days at BF's house. The best part...
Sunday when he finally shoveled out and made it home on snowy roads-then walked through snow into the house-he actually hugged me and said,"It's GREAT to be home...."
HOME...FAMILY....LOVE....that's why I spend the hours scrappin our life together. And making his chili and cornbread for SuperBowl party of 3-his DAD, me and Doug. It makes me happy.

I hear you Chris. I had planned snack type foods for Super Bowl until Jacob said, 'Gramma, you haven't made us chicken and dumplings in a long time.' Gramma spent all morning making chicken and dumplings for Jacob. Did anyone take pictures of Gramma making chicken and dumplings? Of course not. Gramma is the one with the camera.

Mary - I LOVE Chicken and dumplings!! Now I might want that instead of baked ziti for supper. (I'm in a blizzard, but this girl is NOT starving!!!)

Chris - WHAT pinetrees? I'm sure there are some under those mounds of snow, but right now? Not so visible.

Sorry Ladies for all your snow. Welcome to our world :-) We've been thee done that. And still have it by the way.

I am happy I do not need to cook tonight, we are going out on our way to a basketball game and I am happy Linda suggested a cook book in one of our chats over the scrappy weekend, I got it and love it!
