I am still getting things done, but if I am going to get 25 layouts made this month I had better get moving. I have only done 2!  I have almost met my card goal though. Anyone else feel like their goal my have been a bit too ambitious?

I am a day behind on my layouts, but am very happy with all the organizational work I'm getting done.  Good job on getting the cards done!

You will get there!  If you have been busy making cards, it's hard to do pages as well.

I have been keeping up with the pace i set myself, but have had very few distractions this last few days.  Hoping to get a few pages done tomorrow, but will get nothing scrappy accomplished on Wednesday.

Calvinball can do one of two things for me: it can spur me to speed up and just get the pages finished.  But it also tempts me into adding "just one more thing" to each page for the points, and that can slow me down.

Hope you finish what you set out to do this month:  still lots of time left.  But if you don't meet your goal, I hope you have fun!

Yes, I'm way behind! I've only posted two layouts, with others in the works. I'm under 100 points. I should have 14 layouts completed to be up to my goal. I guess I've got some binge scrapping in my future if I ever want to meet my goal!

I haven't done a single thing yet, except every day I copy the list of rules so that I have them handy when I do get a chance to do something.

However, the Cub Scout Den meeting has been postponed to Sunday, which means that I will be home earlier, and I'm going to make a layout. I don't know with what, but I have 75 minutes at the dance studio to figure it out. LOL

YES! This!  I finished a layout last night, and looked at it this morning and thought if I add this and this, I'll get 2 more points.  So there I was gluing new elements down to an already completed page.  ha. But I also spend as much time creating layouts as I possibly can. I definitely cannot do this create every possible moment pace every month, but I find it thrilling to do for one month and really try to knock out some stories.

How's your back?  It was your back that was giving you fits and causing problems with creating last month, right?  Are you doing better?

There is still plenty of time!  Plus you're meeting your card goal - so that's a major score!!   As long as you have fun and create that's the real goal.

I have faith but it's getting further and further away from me, my editing software is not cooperating with me and I have very few photos available to scrap.... going to Austin last weekend for grandson's surgery, and now finding out we are going to Ft. Worth for the weekend to help our son move this weekend, neither events were on the schedule when I set my goal.  Although it's extremely frustrating I can't be too disappointed when I get to spend time with the grandkiddos....

I was out of town for the 1st to the 4th and I feel like I missed precious time I could have been scrapping.  I did 2 layouts last night, but I know I'm behind.  I need to do a epic scrapping session this weekend!

My goal was to finish 31 pages (1 a day). So far I have 4, but that means I am behind 2. So actually not too bad. Maybe I can get a couple done after work tonight.

It's a chronic issue, Lisa . . . and unfortunately until I lose a significant amount of weight, surgery is not an option. I have a herniation, bulges, severe degenerative disc disease and arthritis. So I'm working with a pain management specialist to do just that . . . manage the pain. I return for follow up on Thursday, so we'll see if he changes medications. I've had non-surgical intervention as well. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, and I'm limited to how many I can have per year. Soooooo . . .  I said all that to say I'm doing OK. LOL I'm trying to stay positive. I have to devote the first bit of my daily computer time (I have a desktop computer) to designing and then what's left over I use to scrap . . . I was able to do the bits I needed to this morning, so now I'll be scrapping tonight! Thank you for asking and then reading this book! Ha!

I have a daughter has to deal with chronic pain. We're still working on the reasons behind. So I get the frustration and that it is sometimes hard to stay positive. Prayers and hugs that you'll be able to meet your CB goals!

nope. I'm not behind because I didn't set a goal other than to talk SMACK. I've been doing that pretty well!

I didn't set a goal of number of pages because I knew we were taking two short trips and then leaving on the 23rd for 6 weeks. I really don't anticipate scrapping much when we are on the road.

I thought about doing layouts looking at the rules and then adding stuff to each layout to get more points BUT most of them are not things I normally do. So, I decided to scrap pages and not worry about points. Seriously--I should get more points for talking SMACK. I could rack up the points then!!

This week is simply frenetic around here. :obsessed: I do have three pages almost done, but don't know if I will be able to finish them before Friday. :confused2:   And there won't be much scrapping time this weekend, maybe a bit on Sunday, but I'll be pretty drained by then. :boohoo:  Luckily there is a local crop on the 19th, :froggy: so that should help give my scrappy total a boost!  :) Unless I spend the day catching up with friends...  :friends:

At least I can have fun with emojis!!!  :rofll:  :nahnah:    :clown:

Apparently I've exceeded my emoji quota for this post!!!

I'm actually making more PL spreads than I thought I would and less layouts. It's funny how your crafty goals change throughout the month.

I am so glad I am not alone! I did get 2 more layouts done for the week, which is great. But still about 6 pages behind.   Merrick- 50 pages- AMAZING  and Terry so is 17!  you are rocking it!  I did get one more almost done tonight at craft night. If I can get a few a day done Saturday and Sunday that will be great.   I really am having a great time just creating again!
