Rules:
1. game runs from March 1st till midnight EST on March 31st.
2. one layout (or half of a 2 page spread), one project life page = one point
3. one mini-album page (covers count as pages), one card, one tag = 1/2 point each
4. projects = 1/2 - 2 points, depending on size/difficulty
5. art journal pages = 1/2 - 1 point depending on size/difficulty
6. decorated daily planner pages (daily, weekly, monthly, tabs, etc) = 1/2 point
7. photobook pages = 1/2 - 1 point (preslotted/self-created) *detailed notes about this on page two
8. non-paper craft projects = 1 point (project must take an hour or longer to create)
9. Scrapbook Process Video or Layout Share Video = 1 point
10. Creating a Scrapbook Tutorial = 1 point
 
Calvinball Publicity Points: (once per week)
1. Blogging
2. Facebook
3. Instagram
4. Twitter
5. Pinterest
6. Google+
 
Calvinball Team Building Points:
1. leave comments on 10 Calvinball layouts = 1 point
2. leave comments on 5 Calvinball blogs = 1 point
3. early bird - for signing up in February = 1 point
4. attend the Calvinball crop on Sat, 3/25 = 1 point
 
Scrappy Challenge Bonus Points:
 
NOTE: These will be added throughout the duration of the contest, so be sure to check back for new rules!
 
1. Your first layout for 2017 in the Calvinball gallery = 1 point.
2. Use an item, either digital or paper, that was a freebie = 1 point
3. Photograph the view from your window and scrapbook it = 1 point
4. Use something wood--woodgrain paper or a wood title or wood veneer embellishments = 1 point
5. Scrap a milestone birthday or other event = 1 point
6. Host a scrap challenge = 1 point
7. Make a page using a Scrapbook Coach sketch or template (go here to see the free sampler library) = 1 point
8. Use 3 or more metallic elements on a page = 1 point
9. Use your own handwriting for a title or journaling = 1 point

Where & When do we post our picture for our current status of our crafty desk?

Where do we get this: Calvinball Blinkie in your signature and how do we add it?

Tina, I figured this one out today after multiple tries.  I put my pointer on someone else Blinkie and right mouse clicked it, hit copy then went in to my profile found signature and again right mouse clicked and pasted... it worked, I was shocked!!  good luck.

I'll start a thread tomorrow where you can post your pictures or other scrappy talk for the month.

Did you figure out how to add the blinkie? It's been so long since I added mine, I don't know if I remember.

I'm new and reading the rules I see a march gis crop - when is this and how do I get more info. I tried to find info on the meb and it is mostly old stuff so I joined the FB group but no events are posted. I just want to see if I can try and plan ahead of time and maybe get some scrapping doe. Then :)

2. Photograph the view from your window and scrapbook it.

3. Use a wood grain/wood veneer embellishments or title or background paper

4. Hosting a scrapbook challenge

The crop will be March 25th 10am to 4pm EST (longer if west-coasters can keep the room open). I'll add it to the calendar.

 

And here's a rule suggestion: point for making a page that uses a Scrapbook Coach  template or sketch. If you're not a member, you can find a few of these in this free sampler library. https://masterfulscr...mplate-sampler/

Rule Suggestions:

 

Use 3 or more gold, silver or copper elements on a page

 

Use your own handwriting – title or journaling

 

Use mixed media (paint, ink, gellatos, mists)
