I think it would be amazing if you read your stories out loud.

Yes or you could put them behind the class wall just for the students / either way - I think people love to listen to stories (ie. Moth Podcast).

it's a great idea --- i'd never heard that podcast before.

partly i feel a little shy about the pieces --- and, yet, I can see that reading them gives them yet another level of texture.

 

have I mentioned that writing these class is both killing and saving me.

it is SOOOOO hard to write these pieces and accompanying lessons and then I adore them when they're finally done.

 

can't believe another one is supposed to go up next week --- on beginnings . . . . and working on it is depressing the heck out of me because my family has SHINY OBJECT SYNDROME, big time.

The Moth podcast is all about stories - it is really good.

 

The title came from camp fires - moths to the flame - something like people love to hear stories.

 

Another story podcast I love is The New Yorker fiction.

Stories read in Debbie's nice voice (perfect for audio, imo) sounds like a winner!
