Every year during Calvinball, I seem to get bored with the fonts I have on my computer and need to add a few new ones to spice up my layouts.  I am only using it for typing journaling, so I need mostly handwritten, script or typewriter fonts.  Here is what I have added this year from dafont.com. These are all true type fonts, and only one had variations of bold, etc.  But they work great for a paper scrapper who likes to type her journaling out sometimes.

Semi Casual

Skinny Marker

KG She Persisted (no political connotation implied one way or the other here)

Melibrush

Oceanside Typewriter

To The Point

and

Honeymoon, which had the variations.

Do you have a favorite new font?

I have such a hard time with fonts - can't ever decide which one to use! So now I just use American Typewriter (has variations) unless the page screams for something else. Then I waste all kinds of time deciding. I think it's because they mostly all look the same to me! Lol!

I pretty much use Century for my journaling.

One of my faves lately is ragtime and levitte script

I'm a font junkie -- and have been loving Font Bundles and Hungry JPEG, two of my newest font resource finds..  Both have some freebies and some paysies.  Many of their fonts are more for titles and cutting machines, but I love 'em.

I am loving my Mom's Typewriter for journaling -- I think I got that at DaFont.

I just go with Travelling Typewriter or my own handwriting font. One less decision making process! :D

Thanks for starting this post.  I will definitely download Honeymoon today and am going to look at the other suggestions.  I think we need a rule about using a new font.  :)

Love those fonts! I am always looking for new journaling fonts since I like to type my journaling most of the time.
